Welcome to West Wales Chiropractors. We are an established team of healthcare practitioners who specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders. Our Chiropractic techniques help manage and deal with your pain relief in an effective and practical manner. Based centrally in Carmarthen and Blaenporth, we are able to serve the people of West Wales with our easily accessible clinics. Your initial consultation which includes treatment will take around 45 minutes to an hour and will cost £60. Any subsequent treatments will then take around 20-30 minutes and will cost £38.00.

Pain Management

We are a team of qualified healthcare professionals specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders, with treatment through manual adjustment and or manipulation of the spine and limbs. Considered a type of complementary and alternative medicine, Chiropractic therapy is not available on the NHS but available privately. Chiropractic therapy is safe and not normally painful, although you can experience slight discomfort. Treatment can mainly help with pain in muscles and joints such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain and pain from osteoarthritis.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy is our lastest pain management device that is used to treat patients with chronic tendon disorders. It is a non-surgical treatment and works by delivering impulses of energy targeted to specific damage tissues within the abnormal tendon. This increases the blood flow within the affected area stimulating cell generation and healing and decreasing local factors which can cause pain. The treatment was originally designed as a treatment for kidney stones and has since been developed for the effective treatment of tendon conditions. The cost is £60 per session following 3-6 subsequent appointments.
